NICALEK SELECTED TO ALL-ECC SECOND-TEAM LEDGER November 11, 2011 CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - For the third year in a row, Molloy College senior outside/right-side hitter Angelica Nicalek has received All-East Coast Conference second-team kudos, as publicized by the league at a pre-volleyball tournament brunch on Friday. This year, Nicalek headed up the Lions in kills, slamming down 363 of them, and service aces, with 28. She was also second in digs and attack percentage, and fourth in total blocks. [READ MORE]

POST IN SEASON FINALE, 3-2 November 8, 2011 ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Leading two sets to none in the contest on Tuesday evening, the Molloy College volleyball squad was unable to hang on, as it lost the next three sets to East Coast Conference nemesis C.W. Post in a season-capping 3-2 defeat (25-21, 26-24, 13-25, 9-25, 14-16) at Quealy Gymnasium in Rockville Centre, N.Y. VOLLEYBALL CAPS 2011 ROAD SCHEDULE WITH 3-1 LOSS AT MERCY November 3, 2011 DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Senior outside/right-side hitter Angelica Nicalek and freshman setter Kerry MacDonald chipped in a double-double apiece on Thursday night. However, the Molloy College volleyball team still went down by a 3-1 decision (25-17, 22-25, 21-25, 23-25) against Mercy College in its 2011 road finale at Mercy Gymnasium in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Nicalek finished with 19 kills and 17 digs, while MacDonald posted 16 assists and 15 digs. With the loss, the Lions fell to 8-18 overall, and 4-9 in league play.
