SLOPER EARNS DAKTRONICS ALL-EAST REGION FIRST-TEAM HONORS November 15, 2011 BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – On Tuesday, sophomore midfielder/forward Allison Sloper of the Molloy College women’s soccer team continued to win accolades, as she was chosen to the Daktronics All-East Region First-Team, as voted on by the region’s sports information directors. For Sloper, this is her third post-season award, as she landed on the CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-East Coast Conference First-Team. LATE GOAL SNEAKS DOWLING PAST WOMEN’S SOCCER IN ECC FINAL, 1-0 November 5, 2011 BROOKHAVEN, N.Y. – Stuck in a scoreless tie with 14-plus minutes left in regulation, Dowling College sophomore back Erika Krumholz sent a 35-yard shot over the head of freshman netminder Nicole DellaPorta, which proved to be the game-winner, as the No. 2 seed Golden Lions edged the No. 4 seed Molloy College women’s soccer team, 1-0, in the East Coast Conference Championship final at Golden Lions Field in Brookhaven, N.Y.
