Volleyball drops in ECC quarterfinals

OAKDALE, NY- The Molloy College volleyball team dropped to the Golden Lions of Dowling College in the East Coast Conference Quarterfinals on November 7 at St. John’s Eastern LI Campus.

This was the Lady Lions first conference tournament appearance since 1998 but they fell to Dowling in three games (12-30, 27-30, 12-30).

Molloy finishes the 2007 season with a 13-17 overall record, while Dowling (34-7) advances to the semi-finals of the ECC tournament. Freshman Arielle Wichard (Merrick, NY) recorded four kills, while sophomore Monika Rodziewicz (Gdansk, Poland) had six digs.
