BLOOMFIELD, NJ- The Molloy College volleyball team fell to the Deacons of Bloomfield College on October 28. The non-conference loss (25-30, 25-30, 30-21, 15-3) drops the Lady Lions to 13-15 overall, while the Deacons improve to 15-15. Freshman Laura Haynes (Garden City, NY) led Molloy with 11 kills, while senior Michelle Drury (Bellmore, NY) had nine kills. Sophomore Monika Rodziewicz (Gdansk, Poland) recorded 30 digs and senior Christina Loffredo (Dix Hills, NY) notched 17 digs. Junior Danielle Sekesan (Hicksville, NY) handed out 22 assists and freshman Kara Kerley (Wantagh, NY) passed out 19 assists.
The Lady Lions will host their last regular season home game on Tuesday, October 30 when they take on Queens College. The first game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM
