ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- The Molloy College women's volleyball team grabbed a 3-1 (30-24, 30-17, 27-30, 30-18) non-conference victory over the Goldey-Beacom College on October 12 at Goldey-Beacom. The Lady Lions then traveled to Holy Family University for a tri-match with Post University on October 13. Molloy took a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-27) non-conference victory over Post and then dropped a 3-1 (30-24, 24-30, 28-30, 20-30) non-conference match against Holy Family. The Lady Lions now hold a 10-12 overall record.

Over the three matches, senior Diann Drury (Bellmore, NY) led Molloy with 34 kills and added 29 digs. Freshman Arielle Wichard (Merrick, NY) recorded 26 kills, while freshman Laura Haynes (Garden City, NY) contributed 21 kills. Freshman Kara Kerley (Wantagh, NY) passed out 53 assists and junior Danielle Sekesan (Hicksville, NY) handed out 51 assists. Senior Angela Barra (East Meadow, NY) led the team with 15 blocks and 19 kills. Defensively, sophomore Monika Rodziewicz (Gdansk, Poland) notched 71 digs.

The Lady Lions return to ECC action when they host NYIT at Quealy Gymnasium on October 16 at 7:00 PM.
