FREY COLLECTS ALL-ECC FIRST-TEAM HONORS

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 7, 2009) - The East Coast Conference issued its year-end accolades for women's tennis on Wednesday morning, and rookie Jeana Frey (Island Park, N.Y.) was named to the first-team for her efforts during the season. During the 2009 campaign so far, Frey has registered a singles ledger of 6-4, which includes a 3-2 mark in East Coast Conference action. She also teamed up with fellow freshman Caitlin Ortiz (Huntington Station, N.Y.) for three victories in doubles play.

Head Coach Terry Hirten and the Lions return to the court today as they make their first-ever appearance in the East Coast Conference Tournament. Molloy, which clinched the No. 4 seed, will head to Flushing, N.Y. to take on top-seeded and last year's ECC runner-up Queens College. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.
