FLUSHING, NY- The Molloy College women's tennis team fell in the 2007 East Coast Conference Individual Championships hosted by Queens College on October 13 and 14. Graduate student Victoria Incalcaterra (New Hyde Park, NY) and Annie Ayala (South Hempstead, NY) teamed up in first doubles but were defeated by Christina Hoffman Dummer and Diane Kobasivic of Dowling, while Incalcaterra fell in first singles and Ayala dropped in fourth singles. In second doubles, freshman Amanda Colquhoun (West Hempstead, NY), who fell in third singles, and sophomore Shannon Skeggs (Massapequa, NY), who dropped sixth singles, faced Kirby Ross and Laura Mocodeanu of Queens but took an 8-0 loss. Sophomores Meghan McDevitt (Levittown, NY) and Michelle Estupinian (Levittown, NY) dropped third doubles to Adelphi's Tricia Burns and Kaitlyn Henn. McDevitt lost in fifth singles and senior Nicole Bennardo (West Islip, NY) was defeated in second singles.
