ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Senior Nicole Bennardo (West Islip, NY) had a perfect senior day as the Molloy College women's tennis team defeated the Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College on October 5. Bennardo won the third singles and second doubles with sophomore Shannon Skeggs (Massapequa, NY), who also won the sixth singles. Sophomore Meghan McDevitt (Levittown, NY) and Annie Ayala (South Hempstead, NY) defeated Berline DuPeroy and Kate Lewis in third singles. In fifth singles, Ayala received a victory over DuPeroy.

The Lady Lions will compete at the 2007 ECC Team Championships on Wednesday, October 10.
