ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- The Molloy College women's tennis team fell in their 2007 ECC opener to the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College on September 10. The 8-1 loss drops the Lady Lions to 0-2 on the season , while the Spartans pick up their first victory (1-1). Newcomer, Annie Ayala (South Hempstead, NY) took Molloy's lone victory as she defeated Alyssa Butterfield in the 5th singles.

The Lady Lions will travel to Adelphi on September 13 for a 3:30 PM conference match.
