WOMENS SOCCER TAKES OUT TIME TO PLAY WITH LONG ISLAND LIONS

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Oct. 2, 2008) - On Wednesday, members of the Molloy College women's soccer team spent time after practice playing the game that they enamor with the Long Island Lions, which is a Special Olympics group based out of Rockville Centre, N.Y. The players led them in a short warm-up and then took shots on goal.
"Everyone had a great time and it really turned out to be a special event," stated Head Coach Danny Longo (Hicksville, N.Y.). "It was nice that our girls were able to do this, and we are planning on having another event with them next week."
