OAKDALE, NY- The Molloy College women's soccer team fell, 5-1, to the Golden Lions of Dowling College on October 27. The Lady Lions finish the 2007 season with an overall record of 6-10-1 and an East Coast Conference of 4-6.

Dowling (14-5-7; 7-3) recorded the first goal of the game in the 17th minute. The Golden Lions went on to score three more goals in a span of nine minutes and held the 4-0 lead as 29:25 ticked off the clock. Less than four minutes later, Molloy netted their lone goal of the game when junior Gillian Fortune (Westbury, NY) placed the ball in the back of the net and the Lady Lions went into halftime with the 4-1 deficit. Dowling placed one more goal on the scoreboard during the 63rd minute as they came away with the 5-1 East Coast Conference victory. Freshman Jessica Sandy (Farmingville, NY) recorded eight saves in net for Molloy, while Alicia Commisso made four saves for Dowling.
