ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Junior Kristie Caruso (Whitestone, NY) recorded five points as the Molloy College women's soccer team defeated the Clippers of Concordia College, 5-0, on September 22 at the John A. Darcy Field. The Lady Lions take their first ECC victory (1-1) of the 2007 season and improve to 3-5-1 overall, while the Clippers drop to 0-6 and 0-1.

Sophomore Kate-Lynn Muir (Westbury, NY) scored the first two goals for the Lady Lions and Caruso assisted on both to give Molloy a 2-0 lead within the first ten minutes of play. Thirty seconds prior to halftime, the Lady Lions increased their advantage to three when sophomore Paula Sanelli (Longwood, NY) found the back of the net. Caruso and Sanelli each added goals for Molloy in the second half as the Lady Lions came away with the 5-0 conference victory.

The Lady Lions will travel to Queens College on September 25 for a 4:30 PM ECC game.
