CALDWELL, NJ- Sophomore Jessica Molina (Queens, NY) guided the Molloy College women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the Cougars of Caldwell College on September 17. The non-conference victory improves the Lady Lions to 2-4-1, while the Cougars fall to 1-4.

Molina scored her goal off a rebound by senior Kelly LaClair's (Lindenhurst, NY) shot as 13 minutes came off the clock. The Lady Lions defense held strong for the remainder of the game to keep the Cougars off the scoreboard. Junior Christina Aquilon (Queens, NY) made three saves in net, while Lauren Hoenig stopped eight of Molloy's shots.

The Lady Lions will travel to the University of New Haven on Wednesday, September 19 for their ECC opener. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
