COLCHESTER, VT- The Molloy College women's soccer team fell to the Purple Knights of St. Michael's College on the second day of the Double Tree Kick-Off Classic on August 26. The Lady Lions drop to 0-1-1 overall, while the Purple Knights improve to 2-0 on the season.

Thirty seconds prior to halftime, St. Michael's placed their first goal on the scoreboard. The Purple Knights increased their lead to two when Kelley Ruch netted a goal 15 minutes into the second half. Despite getting off eight shots in the game, Molloy was unable to find the back of the net and took the 2-0 loss. Junior Christina Aquilon (Queens, NY) made three saves in net for the Lady Lions, while Purple Knight Molly Cole also recorded three saves.

The Lady Lions will host Le Moyne College for their 2007 home opener on Wednesday, August 29 at 2:00 PM.
