LACLAIR BECOMES FIRST WOMEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER TO EARN ALL-AMERICA HONORS
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- In the program’s three year history, junior Kelly LaClair (Lindenhurst, NY) became the first women’s lacrosse player at Molloy to be named an All-American. She was named to the WomensLacrosse.com All-America Second Team on May 28.
Junior Kelly LaClair (Lindenhurst, NY) and sophomores Kristie Sosnowski (Massapequa Park, NY) and Kristina Wargo (Hicksville, NY) were named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team.

BROOKHAVEN, N.Y. - Freshmen midfielder Cassandra Cronin (Islip Terrace, NY) had 5 goals and was named the games most outstanding player as Dowling defeated Molloy 18-8 in the Championship game of the ECAC Tournament. With the win, the Golden Lions end their innagural season 10-5 as Molloy falls to 10-7.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - The Molloy College women’s lacrosse team advances to the 2008 ECAC Championship game after defeating the Lions of Georgian Court University on May 9, 2008 at the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex. The Lions finish their season with an 11-5 overall record, while the Lady Lions now hold a 10-6 overall record and will face the Golden Lions of Dowling College in the ECAC Championship game on May 10. The Championship game will be held at 11:00 a.m. by Dowling College, the number one seed in the tournament.

The 19-5 non-conference victory improves the Lady Lions to 10-4, while the Greyhounds fall to 1-13.
