LACLAIR, SOSNOWSKI AND WARGO NAMED TO IWLCA ALL-REGION SECOND TEAM

Junior Kelly LaClair (Lindenhurst, NY) and sophomores Kristie Sosnowski (Massapequa Park, NY) and Kristina Wargo (Hicksville, NY) were named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team.  LaClair, who was selected to the All-ECC First Team, finished tied for second on the team with 25 draw controls and was third with 37 groundballs.  Wargo, who garnered All-ECC Second Team, led the team with 47 goals, 21 assists and 68 points and was second with 39 groundballs.  In addition, she scored her 100^th career point on April 18, 2008 against Bentley College.  In the East Coast Conference, Wargo finished fifth in points per game and sixth in assists per game.  Sosnowski ranked first on the team with 87 draw controls and 56 groundballs, while placing third with 34 goals and 11 assists.  She was second in the ECC in draw controls per game.
