LACLAIR, LAFLARE AND WARGO EARN ECC HONORS
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY- Junior Kelly LaClair (Lindenhurst, NY) was selected to the All-ECC First Team, while sophomores Rebecca LaFlare (Lindenhurst, NY) and Kristina Wargo (Hicksville, NY) earned All-ECC Second Team honors. LaClair, a 5-6 defender, was tied for second on the team with 25 draw controls and was third with 37 groundballs. Wargo, a 5-6 midfielder, led the team with 47 goals, 21 assists and 68 points and was second with 39 groundballs. In addition, she scored her 100th career point on April 18, 2008 against Bentley College. In the East Coast Conference, Wargo is fifth in points per game, sixth in assists per game and tenth in goals per game. LaFlare, a 5-7 attacker, finished second on the team with 40 goals and 45 points, while holding a second place tie with LaClair in draw controls.
