CLEVELAND, OHIO – Last week, the Athletic Directors’ Association announced its recipients of the 2008-09 Academic Achievement Award for Division II, and Molloy College had 29 of its student-athletes recognized out of a total of 4,020 across 115 institutions. In order to obtain this honor, the student-athlete had to achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They also needed to attend the institution for at least two years, and be a member of an intercollegiate team during his or her previous academic year.

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – Freshman Courtney Dolnick, who will be playing for the Molloy College women’s basketball team in 2009-10, assisted in leading the United States Junior Basketball squad to a gold medal at the 2009 Maccabiah Games last Tuesday in Tel Aviv, Israel.
