Leading 46-28 with just under 16 minutes left in the second period, the Lions, who already had the game in hand, put any chance of a late comeback away for good with a 10-0 burst in a span of 3:17 to take a 59-28 advantage with 12:38 to go. Lopez had seven of the points off of a three-pointer and two jays. Abitante also contributed a pair of lay-ups on the fast break.
