MIGLIORE EARNS TWO TOP-5 RIDES AS EQUESTRIAN TAKES PART IN NASSAU COMMUNITY SHOW

HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (Oct. 11, 2009) - Freshman Mary Migliore (Syosset, N.Y.) led the way for the Molloy College equestrian team on Sunday with a second-place finish in the novice fences and a third-place ribbon in the novice flat as the Lions competed in the Nassau Community College Show at the Sweet Hills Riding Center in Huntington, N.Y. Overall, Molloy posted several Top-5 finishes in the competition.

Junior Erica Krilov (Woodbury, N.Y.) got a pair of fifth-place marks in the intermediate fences and flat events. Sophomore Megan Larkin (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) took home fifth-place honors in the open flat.

Head Coach Carole Gerrity and the Lions return to action next Sunday when they ride in the Hofstra University Show at Country Farms in Medford, N.Y. The competition will get underway at 9 a.m.
