EQUESTRIAN RIDES AT DOWLING/NYU HORSE SHOW

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY-

The Molloy College equestrian team competed at the Dowling/NYU Horse Show at Parkview Equestrian Center on March 9. Junior Danielle Petersen (West Islip, NY) placed third in the Class 1 Walk-Trot, while junior Sara Rhindress (New Hyde Park, NY) finished in fourth and freshman Katherine Dempsey (Garden City, NY) picked up sixth place honors. Junior Georgette Durand (Forest Hills, NY) held a fifth place finish in the Class 2A Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter. During the Class 2B Advanced Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter, junior Meghan White (Hicksville, NY) garnered second place honors. In the Class 3 Novice Flat, senior Patrice Castillo (Wantagh, NY) ended the competition in reserved, while freshman Erica Krilov (Woodbury, NY) took third place and second place in Class 4 Novice Fences.
