EQUESTRIAN COMPETES AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY SHOW

The Molloy College equestrian team competed at the Columbia University Show on March 2. Junior Meaghan White (Hicksville, NY) took home second place in the Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter Class 2B for the Lady Lions, while junior Georgette Durand (Forest Hills, NY) brought in fifth place honors in the Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter Class 2A. In the Class 1 Walk-Trot, junior Danielle Petersen (West Islip, NY) earned second place honors, junior Sarah Rhindress (New Hyde Park, NY) placed fourth and freshman Katie Dempsey (Garden City, NY) garnered sixth place honors. Freshman Erica Krilov (Woodbury, NY) took second place in the Class 3 Novice Flat, while senior Patrice Castillo (Wantagh, NY) finished in third. During the Class 4 Novice Fences, Krilov earned third place honors and Castillo brought home fourth place honors.
