EQUESTRIAN COMPETES AT COLUMBIA SHOW

The Molloy College equestrian team competed at the Columbia Show on November 11 which was held at the Bergen Equestrian Center. Junior Meaghan White (Hicksville, NY) took home 3rd place honors in the Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter 2B for the Lady Lions, while junior Georgette Durand (Forest Hills, NY) brought in fourth place honors in the Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter Class 2A. In the Walk-Trot Class 1, sophomore Carissa Swany (Deer Park, NY) earned fifth place honors and junior Sarah Rhindress (New Hyde Park, NY) placed sixth. Senior Patrice Castillo (Wantagh, NY) finished sixth in the Novice Fences Class 5. During the Alumni Flat Class 9, Rachel Kaczorowski and Christine Manz each took 2nd place.

Molloy will take a break for the winter and return to competition on February 17, 2008.
