EQUESTRIAN RIDES AT FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY HORSE SHOW AND YALE UNIVERSITY/SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY HORSE SHOW

CONNECTICUT- The Molloy College equestrian team competed in the Fairfield University Horse Show on October 13 at New Canaan Mounted Farm and in the Yale University/Sacred Heart University Horse Show on October 14 at River's Edge Farm.

During the Fairfield Horse Show, sophomore Carissa Swany (Deer Park, NY), junior Danielle Petersen (West Islip, NY) and junior Sara Rhindress (New Hyde Park, NY) respectively placed third, fourth and sixth in the Class 1 Walk-Trot. In the Class 2A Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter, junior Meghan White (Hicksville, NY) finished sixth, while junior Georgette Durand (Forest Hills, NY) ended the competition in reserve.

In the Yale University/Sacred Heart Show, senior Patrice Castillo (Wantagh, NY) took home fourth place in the Class 4 Novice Over Fences and sixth place in the Class 3 Novice Flat. Rhindress captured fifth place in the Class 1 Walk-Trot, while Swany took sixth place. During the Class 2A Beginner Walk-Trot-Canter, White had a fourth place finish and Durand finished reserve.

Molloy will ride at the Hofstra Horse Show on October 21 at Country Farms in Medford, NY.
