EQUESTRIAN COMPETES AT ST. JOSEPH’S HORSE SHOW

YAPHANK, NY- The Molloy College equestrian team competed at the St. Joseph's Horse Show at Good Shepherd Farm on October 7. Sophomore Carissa Swany (Deer Park, NY) placed second in the Class 1 Walk-Trout, while junior Danielle Petersen (West Islip, NY) finished in fifth. Junior Georgette Durand (Forest Hills, NY) and junior Meghan White (Hicksville, NY) both held a fifth place finish in the Class 2A Beginner Walk-Trout-Canter. In the Class 4 Novice Over Fences, senior Patrice Castillo (Wantagh, NY) ended the competition in third, while placing fifth in the Class 3 Novice.

The Lions will compete at the Fairfield University Show on October 13 and the Yale University/Sacred Heart University Horse Show on October 14.
