FIVE WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYERS RECEIVE ALL-ECC DISTINCTION

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - In a vote by the league's nine head coaches, the Molloy College women's lacrosse squad had five players garner All-East Coast Conference kudos, as announced by the league on Friday. Juniors Emily Glenn, Kaitlynn Kelly and Danielle Clesi were first-team picks, while senior Emily Antonette and junior Alexa Toscano took home second-team accolades.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS STAC IN 2012 SEASON FINALE, 19-11

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - Senior attacker Alison Scalice and junior attacker Kaitlynn Kelly tallied a game-high six points apiece, as the Molloy College women's lacrosse team upended East Coast Conference rival St. Thomas Aquinas College, 19-11, on Saturday in its 2012 finale at the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex in Rockville Centre, N.Y. With the win, the Lions, who used a 10-1 first-half surge to put the game away early, finish up with a mark of 9-8 overall, and a clip of 6-2 in league play. As for the Spartans, they close out the year at 8-8, and 2-6 in the ECC.
