BADAMO COMPETES IN 1,500-METER RUN AT NYC QUALIFYING CHALLENGE

NEW YORK, N.Y. (May. 8, 2010) - Senior Matthew Badamo (Floral Park, N.Y.) came up short of qualifying for the national standard in the 1,500-meter run on Saturday afternoon as he clocked a time of 4:05 at the New York City Qualifying Challenge, which took place on Randall's Island at Icahn Stadium in New York, N.Y. Badamo was 12 seconds shy of the provisional mark.
