LEONARD HEADLINES 2013 ALL-ECC SELECTIONS FOR MEN'S LACROSSE

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - Four members of the Molloy College men's lacrosse team garnered All-East Coast Conference accolades on Thursday, as announced by the league office. Sophomore attackman Joe Leonard led the way with a first-team nod. Freshman midfielder Peter Clark was a second-team choice, while junior defenseman Kyle Frenger and sophomore attackman Tom Engelhardt were honorable mention picks.

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - On Sunday, the 12th-ranked Molloy College men's lacrosse team closed out the 2013 season with a 12-10 loss versus Mercy College in an East Coast Conference clash at Mavericks' Field in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Six different players posted multi-point showings in the defeat for the Lions, who fell to 10-4 overall, and 3-4 in ECC play.

PERRY, N.Y. - After a one-week absence from the national scene, the Molloy College men's lacrosse team re-appeared in Monday's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Poll, capturing the 12th spot. The Lions, who lost Saturday's tilt with LIU Post by a final of 15-11, amassed seven points in the tally.

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - On Saturday, the Molloy College men's lacrosse team dropped its third game in the last four contests with a 15-11 loss against fifth-ranked LIU Post in an East Coast Conference duel at Hickox Field in Brookville, N.Y. As a result, the Lions fell to 10-3 overall, and 3-3 versus league opposition. Meanwhile, the Pioneers now sport a mark of 10-2 on the season, to go along with a perfect 6-0 ledger in the ECC.
