GALANTE AND HUMANN NAMED TO ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Junior Keith Galante (Plainedge, NY) was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) First Team All-America, while senior Rob Humann (Hicksville, NY) earned Honorable Mention honors.

GALANTE AND HUMANN PICK UP ECC HONORS
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY- Junior Keith Galante (Plainedge, NY) was selected to the All-ECC First Team, while senior Rob Humann (Hicksville, NY) earned All-ECC Second Team honors. Galante led the team with 27 goals, 26 assists and 53 points. In the East Coast Conference, he was ranked fourth in assists per game, fifth in points per game and ninth in goals per game. He is ranked seventh in the NCAA Division II in assists per game and tenth in points per game. Humann saw 686:34 minutes between the pipes as he obtained a GAA of 9.44 and recorded 134 saves. He was second in the ECC in saves per game, fourth in GAA and fifth in save percentage. In the NCAA Division II, Humann is tenth in goals against average and 14th in save percentage.

MENS LACROSSE ENDS 2008 SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE
MASSAPEQUA, NY- The Molloy College mens lacrosse team ended their 2008 season with a 16-6 victory over the Chargers of Dominican College on April 26 at Burns Park in Massapequa. The Lions finish their season with a 5-8 overall record and a 1-5 East Coast Conference record, while the Chargers now hold a 5-8 overall record and a 0-4 conference record.

MENS LACROSSE DROPS HEARTBREAKER ON SENIOR DAY TO C.W. POST
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Senior Brian Tempone (Merrick, NY) scored two goals and senior Kevin Meekins (Levittown, NY) notched one goal on senior day for the Molloy College mens lacrosse team but the Lions fell to the Pioneers of C.W. Post on April 19. The 13-12 loss drops the Lions to 4-8 overall and 0-5 in the ECC, while the Pioneers improve to 9-3 and 2-2.

DOWLING OUTLASTS MENS LACROSSE
BROOKHAVEN, NY- The Molloy College mens lacrosse team dropped an East Coast Conference game to the Golden Lions of Dowling College on Saturday, April 12. The Lions fall to 4-7 on the season and 0-4 in league play, while Dowling improves to 9-1 and 2-0.

ERIE, PA- Junior Jeffrey Flandina (West Islip, NY) scored three goals but it was not enough as the Molloy College mens lacrosse team fell to the Lakers of Mercyhurst College on April 5. The 9-8 conference loss drops the Lions to 4-6 and 0-3, while the Lakers improve to 4-3 and 2-1.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Molloy College mens lacrosse team dropped a non-conference game to the Setters of Pace University on April 2. With the 13-7 loss, Molloy falls to 4-5 overall, while the Setters improved to 4-3.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Adelphis Brandon Butler scored a goal with 1:10 left in the game to lift the Panthers past the Molloy College mens lacrosse team on March 29 at John A. Darcy Field. The 10-9 East Coast Conference loss drops the Lions to 4-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference, while Adelphi improves to 5-2 and 1-0.

Darcy Field. The non-conference game was the season opener for both teams.

Inside Lacrosse released Face-Off Yearbooks Division II Pre-Season All-America List on December 4. Senior Billy Brown (North Babylon, NY) was named to the Second Team, while senior Rob Humann (Hicksville, NY) and junior Keith Galante (Plainedge, NY) received Honorable Mention honors.
