CROSS COUNTRY PARTICIPATES IN BOXTOWN ON CAMPUS

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- The Molloy College men's and women's cross country teams participated in Boxtown which was run by the Molloy College Campus Ministries office.  Boxtown involved volunteers spending a night in a cardboard box on the campus of Molloy College in order to express their solidarity with the Homeless.  Each volunteer raised money for the cause, which will be donated to the Bethany House to help homeless women and children in Nassau County.  Molloy College raised $6,600 for the Bethany House, while the cross country teams pitched in with $1,215.
