RINDGE, N.H. (Sept. 11, 2009) - Franklin Pierce University released its All-Labor Day Classic Team on Friday morning, and three members of the Molloy College men's soccer team were placed on the roster. Those Lions were senior midfielder Graeme Roderick (Liverpool, England), sophomore midfielder Daniel Patino (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and freshman back Steven Reyes (Astoria, N.Y.). During the two games, the trio combined to total eight shots and four points.
In the 4-3 loss to the host Ravens last Sunday, Roderick scored twice. He also raked four shots - two of which were on net. Reyes assisted the Lions' defense in holding the Falcons' offense of Bentley University to a single marker. The same can be said for Patino as well. In addition, he attempted one shot versus Bentley last Friday.
Head Coach Danny Longo and his squad return to action this Saturday when Molloy opens a three-game road trip in Millersville, Pa. at third-ranked Millersville University. The opening kick is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
