CARPIO’S GOAL GIVES MEN’S SOCCER 1-0 VICTORY OVER FELICIAN

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY- Senior Steve Carpio's (New Hyde Park, NY) goal gave the Molloy College men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over the Falcons of Felician College on October 22 at John A. Darcy Field. The Lions improve their overall record to 10-3-3 with the non-conference victory, while the Falcons drop to 3-14-2.

The game remained scoreless until the 88th minute when Carpio headed a ball from sophomore Bart Charkow (Valley Stream, NY) into Felician's net and the Lions kept the Falcons off the scoreboard during the final two minutes. Junior Ettore Morelli (North Bellmore, NY) recorded four saves in net for Molloy and Paulo DosSantos made 11 saves for Felician.

Molloy will host the Purple Knights of the University of Bridgeport on October 24 in their last regular season home game. The ECC game will begin at 6:00 PM.
