GALANTE, BROWN AND HUPFER EARN PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

Senior Billy Brown (North Babylon, NY) and juniors Keith Galante (Plainedge, NY) and Chris Hupfer (Hicksville, NY) were selected to the 2008 Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-Conference Team. Brown was named to the 2008 Preseason All-American Second Team by Inside Lacrosse Magazine, the 2007 USILA Second Team and the 2007 All-ECC First Team. He led the team in face-offs (169-263) and groundballs (99) during the 2007 season. Galante topped the team with 29 points (22 goals; 27 assists) last season and picked up 2008 Preseason All-American Second Team honors by Inside Lacrosse. Hupfer played in every game last season for the Lions on defense. He helped the Lions obtain an 8-5 overall record for the 2007 season. The Lions were chosen to finish in fifth place in the 2008 ECC Preseason Poll.
