WOODBERRY AND HUTCHINSON EARN ECC WEEKLY HONORS

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY- Sophomore Kymira Woodberry (Boston, MA) garnered ECC/Baden Player of the Week honors, while freshman Brian Hutchinson (Elmont, NY) took home ECC/Baden Rookie of the Week honors. Woodberry averaged a double-double of 18.0 points and 12.3 rebounds with 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and two blocks in a 3-0 week. She shot 50-percent from the floor and 67-percent at the line. Woodberry notched 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals against Felician and added 28 points, 17 rebounds, two assists and two steals at Dowling. She finished the week with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two steals against C.W. Post.

Hutchinson averaged 14.5 ppg and 6.5 boards in two contests for the Lions this past week. He notched 15 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Dowling and added 14 points and five boards in a loss to C.W. Post.
