BASEBALL FALLS TO C.W. POST IN LAST REGULAR SEASON GAME; LIONS FINISH FIFTH IN THE ECC AND FACE C.W. POST IN FIRST ROUND OF CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

BROOKVILLE, NY- The Molloy College baseball team fell to the Pioneers of C.W. Post on May 4 in their final regular season game. The Lions finish in fifth place in the East Coast Conference and will play the Pioneers on May 7 at C.W. Post in the first round of the conference tournament. The game will begin at 3:00 PM.
The Pioneers (25-25; 16-11) scored in the bottom of the first inning and that would prove to be enough. C.W. Post went on to notch three more runs during the game and kept Molloy off the scoreboard for the entire game. Freshman Joseph Menendez (Manhattan, NY), sophomore T.J. Greig (Staten Island, NY) and freshman Robert LaRusso (Bayside, NY) each recorded a hit during the game. Senior Brian Powers (Westbury, NY) took the loss for Molloy as he allowed four hits, one run and a walk, while he struck out two batters.
