LARKIN AND PETERSON POST FIRST-PLACE RIDES AS EQUESTRIAN WRAPS UP FALL SEASON AT COLUMBIA SHOW

Results - Columbia Show - November 16, 2008 

LEONIA, N.J. (Nov. 18, 2008) - Freshman Megan Larkin (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) and senior Danielle Peterson (West Islip, N.Y.) claimed first-place ribbons in the open fence and beginner walk-trot-cantor, respectively, on Sunday as the Molloy College equestrian team took part in the Columbia University Show at the Bergen Center in Leonia, N.J. The Lions recorded a score of 20 in their final competition of the fall season. 

For winning their events, Larkin and Peterson combined to register 14 points. Senior Sara Rhindress (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) came in third in the beginner walk-trot-cantor for four points. Lastly, sophomore Erica Krilov (Woodbury, N.Y.) was sixth in the novice flat, while sophomore Katherine Geldert (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) finished in sixth place as well, but in the walk-trot.
