EAST COAST CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2008-09 COMMISSIONERS HONOR ROLL

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jun. 18, 2009) - On Thursday, East Coast Conference Commissioner Robert Dranoff put out his honor roll for the 2008-09 academic year, and 93 student-athletes from Molloy College recorded a grade-point average of 3.25 or better to put their names on the ledger. Overall, a total of 617 student-athletes made the cut.
"We are proud of the academic achievements of so many of our student-athletes over this past year," Dranoff said. "They continue to display excellence in the classroom and in their chosen sports as well as through their contributions to their campuses and communities. Congratulations to all those who participated in East Coast Conference athletics."

The Lions will kick off their 2009-10 athletic season on Thursday, Aug. 27 when Head Coach Danny Longo and the women's soccer team travel to New Haven, Conn. for an ECC/NE-10 match-up at Southern Connecticut State University. Action is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
